| The engine is the original 305 w/4bbl. It is completely stock and doesn't look like it's ever been apart. It's dirty and rusty and in need of a lot of help. |

| It's hard to know where to start, there are so many wires and hoses. What are the odds this will go back together correctly? |

| As parts are removed, they're cleaned, repaired and repainted. The Rochester CC carburetor is being rebuilt, and will be re-used along with the original intake manifold. |

| With the heads removed we can see the cylinder walls. Both the pistons and the cylinders look great from here, with no scoring or excessive wear. |

| The first attempt to remove the engine was a failure. I tried taking it out without the transmission but it didn't want to break free. Plan B will be to drop the K-member first. |
