Restoration - Disassembly

The car started to come apart once Spring rolled around as an unheated garage in New England is not a very fun place to work. The 3 month wait allowed time to plan the project, and to further evaluate the car's condition. Overall the car was pretty solid and a lot of the original parts were still there. The key areas, including the rockers, shock towers, and dash were in good shape.

The tear-down began with the removal of the front clip.

The hood and right front fender were salvaged, everything else was replaced.

With the engine out, the endless task of blasting can begin.

The frame is set aside to be disassembled and sand-blasted.
