In Dave's words: "Here are photos of my Butternut Yellow convertible (black top) with the Deluxe Turquoise interior. It has been in the family since October 1968. I'm currently restoring the car, hopefully will be finished sometime this spring. Here are some pre restoration photos. The underside of the car was pretty rotted out, even though it cleaned up well, as these photos attest. I originally came with a 230ci 6 cylinder but after that died many years ago I put a 350 in it (and I added the flags on the front fender at that time). Unfortunately I no longer have the original engine so I'm putting another period correct 6 cylinder back in it as part of the restoration. I've read in a Camaro book where only 715 '67 Camaro Convertibles came with both the 230ci 6 cylinder engine and the deluxe interior. The Turquoise interior makes it even that more rare/unusual. Over all the years it's been in the family I've never once seen another one with the same color scheme; although they did make them. I have the Protect-O-Plate and paperwork on the car. It was an early '67; delivered in Syracuse, NY during October 1966." |

The glove box sticker is the original showing the car was and early '67 and was sold as a 5 passenger. |

During the restoration |
"I fully restored it back to how it was delivered, with a 230ci six cylinder, Powerglide transmission, power steering, AM/FM Delco radio, bias ply tires and of course the deluxe turquoise interior. It not only looks brand new, it drives/rides as it would have from the factory. It drives buttery smooth and is a pure joy to drive in upstate New York, through the rolling Finger Lakes region during the summer months; with the top down." |
"I especially like driving a car on hot summer evenings, with the top down." |
