Oh my! It would take an awful lot of beer to restore this mess. This 1968 Y2 Convertible project car sold on 7/9/2006 for $2803, was re-listed and sold again on 10/8/2006 for $3150. Maybe the first buyer came to his senses.

One of the many Butternut Yellow cars that were re-painted in red. Always a shame. This 1968 Y2 Convertible topped out at $6350 on 8/30/2006, but failed to make the reserve. It had a BIN of $7000.

Another re-paint, but at least it's not red this time. This 1968 Y2 Convertible had a Buy It Now of $27,500, but when bidding topped out at $18,503 on 10/16/2006, it had also not met reserve. Car was originally a 6-cylinder.

Hmm.. does this look familiar? Scroll up a bit and notice the trim tag. Guess they thought a dealer would have better luck, but still no sale. This dealer listed it a few times in Oct-Nov of 2006, and bidding on one auction went to $22,100, but never hit reserve.
